I tried HBO's Deadwood and liked it except every other word was F profanity. I wonder if Carnival is like that?

No, they say the F word like two times in the whole series and they were a big deal.

They do take God's name in vain a lot though.

Great show...but the end of season two will likely make you grind your teeth in frustration, knowing they didn't make season three.

The creator of Carnivale says he wants to finish telling the story someday though. It's gotta happen somehow!
